Jesse Sherburne Studio
Jesse Sherburne’s research + professional practice exists in the interstice between art + design. It is primarily focused on an investigation of hybridity that is currently leading to challenging new work in object, interior + Visual communication design as well as the realms of installation, performance, and relational art. Sherburne trained in Art + Design at the University of Alberta and he holds a Masters of Industrial Design + a Bachelor of Fine Arts with Distinction. Sherburne has run a professional design practice since 1999, with the focus on transformative interior design + contemporary product + visual communications design. Sherburne has also worked as a Director of Design and Marketing for a number of companies including Canada’s largest social network, Nexopia.com. As head of the design + marketing departments, Sherburne oversaw the development of designs for interiors, trade show booths + display settings, as well as brand image redevelopments, unique promotional materials and special event designs.
