This assignment created by Sherburne, focus's on the design of a martini glass for the prestigious Bombay Sapphire competition. Here the student learns how to design a product with certain brand and functionality parameters. As well the student must research previous design submissions, similar products and brand history. This is also a real world assignment that allows the student to understand the nature of the design practice and the value of competitions in terms of career development.

For each design a set of construction documents and a final rendering of the design must be created by the student.
