Jesse Sherburne Studio
Architecture/Interior Design
2006
One of the most complex assignments given by Sherburne, is the architectural and interior design assignement. Each student is asked to design an 800 sq.ft entertainment space for someone who inspires them. The students are first ask to design a mood board showing their research and inspiration. They are then asked to create some orthographic drawings, demonstrating their design concept in scale. The student must create a scale model of the space and interior out of foam or card board. In addition the student must take photo's of their constructed model from realistic angels to give the illusion of the constructed space. An intensive and complex assignment, many student produced elaborate and highly mature work far beyond their first year expectations.
