Jesse Sherburne Studio
Tooth Brush Holder
2006
This assignement requires the student to create a tooth brush holder design in the style of another architect or design. The premise is that the student is working for the famous designer/architects studio and is requested to design this product so it falls in line with their style but also pushes it forward. A presentation of the research into the chosen designer or architect is presented followed by a presentation and critique of their concept drawings. Finally a 3d model must be constructed to demonstrate the design and photos taken of that model.

This is a design for a toothbrush holder that references architect Frank Gehry's furniture work. It is constructed from handcut sheets of wood which are then laminated together to create the final product.
