ART BAR was also marketed by Sherburne in a manner that played off the conceptual ramifications of the project and challenged the context of the exhibit. Sherburne employed the marketing methods associated with the music and entertainment industry to raise awareness and invite expanded public engagement. Posters, handbills and word of mouth were generated to attract a broad cross section of the public to engage with the event.
